History of the Bow Valley Ranch, Fish Creek Provincial Park

Meet by the red barn at the Bow Valley Ranch in Fish Creek Provincial Park (south end of Bow Bottom Tr. SE)
The Bow Valley Ranch is rich in historical significance, not only for Fish Creek Provincial Park, but also for the city of Calgary. Historical figures like John Glenn, William Roper Hull and Pat Burns were instrumental in the development of this city starting in the late 1800s. Join Wayne Meikle, retired Fish Creek Provincial Park planner and founding member of the Friends of Fish Creek, for a walking tour of this area and a trip back in time.
