The Place for Parks and Nature at End of Life

We all feel it, whether looking outside, at a beach, in a field, or on a mountain nature gives us perspective about life and death. Join us to hear the discoveries and practical applications of lead researchers Sonya Jakubec, RN, PhD (Associate Professor, School of Nursing and Midwifery, MRU), and Don Carruthers Den Hoed, PhD candidate (East Kananaskis Area Manager— Alberta Environment and Parks, and Adjunct Professor, School of Nursing and Midwifery, MRU). Together this team bridges their work in nursing care and parks management in order to understand the role of parks in community health.
