DESCRIPTION:2022 Fish Creek Volunteer Fair\nThursday\, March 10\, 2022 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Zoom\n\nFacilitated by Friends of Fish Creek Volunteers and Staff \nDo you love Fish Creek? Are you interested in getting involved? Join us for this virtual presentation to learn about how you can give back to the park we all love. We will share information about  our diverse volunteer programs and variety of ways you can get involved. Come and learn what the Friends of Fish Creek are doing to help protect the park’s ecosystems\, and about this year’s opportunities to get involved. \nThe Friends of Fish Creek strive to remove barriers to participation and offer accessible\, inclusive and meaningful volunteer opportunities. Some of our volunteer positions are more accessible than others. On March 10\, we will be discussing accessibility features of each of our available volunteer positions. DESCRIPTION:Get to Know Beavers and Owls!\n \nSaturday\, March 26\, 2022 at 1:00-3:00pm \nBow Valley Ranch\, Fish Creek Provincial Park \nJoin us for an afternoon in the park where your family or group can enjoy a wide variety of interactive and self-directed activities relating to beavers. At our March event\, you will have an opportunity to: \n\nroast a marshmallow over the campfire\,\nlisten to a story about beavers\,\ntry birding and other outdoor activities\,\nlearn about great horned owls\,\nhunt for wildlife tracks\,\nfind out how you can protect nature when you venture out\,\nand much more!\n\n*Event location\, time and activities are subject to change due to weather\, facility access or other unforeseen circumstances\, so please check this website to confirm event location and time before attending. Drop-ins welcome\, registration not required\, but helpful for planning. \nView 2022 Dates and Themes \nDrop-ins Welcome\, Registration Optional \nThank you to all who supported our efforts to facilitate family nature experiences on GivingTuesday! Together we raised over $2\,800. Show your support for connecting children and families with nature by donating online or by visiting the Friends of Fish Creek office in the Bow Valley Ranch. Proceeds support the purchase of equipment and resources to be used at these events and also covers staff time to coordinate volunteers and partners to bring these events to life. With your support\, we can remove barriers so more families can get connected outdoors!
