DESCRIPTION:Calling all bird enthusiasts! \n\n\n\nThe Friends of Fish Creek Provincial Park Society will be running Birding Walking Tours throughout the month of June. Come learn about the variety of habitats in the park that support different bird species\, and how to participate in citizen science tracking. \n\n\n\nThis tour is open to all skill levels – beginners are welcome! \n\n\n\nWhat to expect: \n\n\n\n\nAbout a 2-hour\, 4km loop\n\n\n\nGuidance on how to use Merlin and eBird to identify and log bird sightings\n\n\n\n\nWhat to bring: \n\n\n\n\nAs always\, come dressed for the weather!\n\n\n\nSunscreen\, bug spray\, a water bottle\n\n\n\nA smartphone with the Merlin and eBird apps\n\n\n\nBinoculars\, if you have them!\n\n\n\n\nLocation: All tours will begin and end at the Visitor Centre in Bow Valley Ranch (15979 Bow Bottom Trail SE). Parking is available on site. \n\n\n\nDates and times: \n\n\n\n\nSaturday\, June 20\, 10am-12pm\n\n\n\nSaturday\, June 27\, 10am-12pm\n\n\n\n\nCost: Individual $15\, Family $35 (up to 2 adults and children in same household) \n\n\n\n50 % off for Friends of Fish Creek members and volunteers \n
