The flooding that occurred in June of 2013 along the Bow River and Fish Creek has had a substantial impact on Fish Creek Provincial Park. Learn how the park’s ecology was affected by the flooding, how park changes since 2005 helped to minimize the damage in the park, and how park infrastructure such as pathways and bridges were affected by this high-water event. Explore the similarities and differences between the floods of 2005 and 2013, and learn about the ongoing challenges faced by the Park to clean-up, rebuild and reassess the most heavily affected areas of Fish Creek Provincial Park.
