Good Grief Program:
Nature Walking for Grief and Loss

Come walk with us.

This summer, take a walk—alongside, not away from—your grief or loss, through the calming scenery of Fish Creek Provincial Park. In partnership with Mount Royal University Professor Sonya Jakubec and Alberta Parks, the Good Grief program runs for eight weeks on Wednesdays from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., starting July 2.

Good Grief can provide valuable connection and healing through grief, loss, or major life transition. Over the program’s duration, you’ll have the chance to connect with nature and with participants experiencing similar things.

Who is this group for?

Good Grief is for anyone:

– experiencing transition in their lives

– coping with the loss of a loved one

– dealing with the loss of a job or career

– managing a significant change in health or mobility

– going through deep changes in their life
