Wayne’s Wonderful Winter Walk!

Fish Creek Provincial Park – Votier’s Flats Day Use Area (south end of Elbow Drive SW, then follow the signs for Fish Creek Provincial Park)

Join dedicated volunteer, retired park planner, and founding member of the Friends of Fish Creek, Wayne Meikle for a wintery walk along the banks of Fish Creek. The winter months offer a beautiful and unique opportunity to enjoy this landscape. Search for animal tracks and learn about what makes this such a special place at this time of year!

Dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear! The park trails are cleared during the winter, but there may be slippery sections and this outing may require some off trail walking. This event will run rain or shine (but in the event of extreme cold or inclement weather, please check the Friends of Fish Creek website for cancellation information).

Register today! $5 per person. Meet in the Votier’s Flats Day Use Area parking lot at 1pm sharp!
