Free native plants to Calgarians as part of a City of Calgary and Friends partnership to show the benefits of native plants in your garden!
Make your garden more drought-tolerant and pollinator friendly by adding native plants!
Join us at this native plant giveaway on Wednesday, September 2 from 10 am to 12 pm at Bow Valley Ranch day use area in Fish Creek Provincial park.
Giveaway terms
- One ticket per household, please
- One sign up per season per household – if you’ve already signed up for a plant giveaway, please wait until next year to sign up again
- Limit of two pots per ticket (each pot contains at least three native plant plugs)
- You must complete the survey at registration to participate
- Offerings may include, but are not limited to Missouri Goldenrod, Smooth Blue Aster, Tufted Fleabane, Green Needlegrass, Plains Rough Fescue. All species are subject to availability
