Join us, if you dare!!! You never know what you’re going to see! Mwahahahahaaaaa!
Tour the historic Bow Valley Ranch area of Fish Creek Provincial Park to learn about the ghosts that are rumored to haunt here! Warm and tasty treats will be served, complements of the Ranche Restaurant. Great for all ages (although it may be a bit scary for younger listeners).
This event is brought to you in partnership by the Ranche at Fish Creek Restoration Society, The Ranche Restaurant, and the Friends of Fish Creek Provincial Park Society.
$7 suggested minimum donation per person. Funds raised will go directly towards the Friends of Fish Creek conservation and stewardship activities in the park.
Register early, space is limited! And don’t forget to wear your scariest Halloween costume!
Meet in front of the Cookhouse in the Bow Valley Ranch area (yellow building across from the Alberta Parks Visitor Centre).
Tour guide Wayne Meikle worked for Alberta Parks for 35 years until he retired from his position as an urban park planner. He worked especially in the area of urban park management and has been involved in the operations, construction and planning of several urban parks. He is also one of the first founders of the Friends of Fish Creek Provincial Park Society, and an active volunteer for the Friends!
