Show your commitment to Fish Creek by becoming a member or renewing your membership for 2025! Together, we can enhance this natural space for everyone to enjoy.

The Friends of Fish Creek are dedicated to engaging the community through activities and awareness to conserve a truly unique naturalized urban park. Members are what define the Friends of Fish Creek as an organization and make it possible for us to fulfill our mission. For many of you, this natural retreat is an extension of your own backyard.

Friends of Fish Creek members receive free admission to our monthly Fish Creek Speaker Series presentations, discounts on courses, a 10% discount at the Wild Bird Store and Kensington Art Supply, and a subscription to the Friends’ newsletter, Voice of the Friends, and the right to vote at our Annual General Meeting.

We deliver carefully targeted community stewardship events to preserve the ecological integrity of this park. Programs such as tree-wrapping, weed-pulling, and Park Watch receive minimal external funding but are made possible by our skilled staff and dedicated volunteers. Our goal of creating a community of informed park users is supported by programs such as Learning Naturally, park tours, birding courses, and Fish Creek Speaker Series

We thank you for renewing your Membership or for joining us as a new member and we look forward to seeing you in the park.

Membership rates are:

Park Protectors Needed

As an alternative to annual membership, the Park Protector monthly donor program may suit your busy lifestyle a little better. Becoming a Park Protector is one of the most convenient ways to support the Friends of Fish Creek every day. As a Park Protector you can have a specific amount withdrawn monthly from a credit card. It’s easy, affordable, and comes with benefits such as a tax receipt and a subscription to the exclusive monthly e-publication, the Park Protector Update.
