Family Birding Course

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the Family Birding Course will not be running in 2021.

In response to requests for programming for children who are too young for the Kids’ Bird Camp, we launched the Learning Naturally Family Birding Course in 2019.  Consisting of three two-hour outings over the course of three weekends, this course is designed for children aged 4-8 (entering kindergarten to entering grade 3) and their parent(s) or guardian(s).  Together, we visit various parks to share in the joy of birding, learn interesting bird facts and become familiar with basic bird identification skills for common species.
