Youth Nature Programs

By developer

Friends of Fish Creek Youth Nature Programs allow youth groups to learn about and connect with the natural world.  These interactive educational programs take place at various locations throughout the park and foster understanding and appreciation for local ecology in our youth. Click here to learn more about the Youth Nature Programs we offer.

Volunteer responsibilities include greeting each group, helping to present the program with staff and/or fellow volunteers and ensuring group safety.  Police Information and Vulnerable Sector Checks are required for first year volunteers in this program (volunteer letter provided for discounted rate).

Recruitment for Youth Nature Program volunteers is closed for 2018.  We encourage you to look for another suitable volunteer opportunity for this year.  Please contact Katie Bakken, Program Coordinator, at katie@friendsoffishcreek.org or at 403-238-3841.
