Creekfest / Get to Know Nature Partner Involvement

These events will run outdoors, and may be canceled due to severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Partners are asked to check their email the morning of each event as we would notify partners via email as soon as possible.

Public washrooms will be available on site.

Event locations will vary throughout the year and may change prior to an event due to unforeseen circumstances such as facility or washroom access.

Power is not available on site.

Partners must bring all they need to conduct their activity or outreach table. Picnic tables are available on site for partner use.

Volunteers and staff of partnering organizations will follow current AHS guidance regarding distancing, masking and staying safe during the event.

Volunteers and staff of partnering organizations will actively engage families/cohorts as a unit and not encourage families/cohorts to intermingle.

Volunteers and staff of partnering organizations will be easily identifiable (wear a uniform, name tag, etc.) to the public.

If our organization is not able to attend an event as planned, I will email Katie@friendsoffishcreek.org as soon as possible.

The Friends of Fish Creek Provincial Park Society's liability insurance does not extend to partnering organizations attending and engaging the public at these events. Any organizations taking part in these events must ensure they have a valid insurance policy in place to provide coverage in the event of a loss or statement of claim.
