On the Road – Exploring the Natural Wonders of Southern Alberta

Thursday, June 18, 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Online using Zoom Video Conferencing Technology

Presented by Mike Drew, Photojournalist with the Calgary Sun

Mike Drew has been exploring the back roads of southern and central Alberta for almost 30 years, camera in hand, documenting his travels and writing captivating articles for the Calgary Sun. Under the great expanse of the Alberta sky, over the foothills and prairies, along highways and back roads, even while hiking and fly-fishing, he captures the landscape and environment through his various photos.

His photos are as diverse and fascinating as the landscapes and regions of this province. From the eastern foothills of the Rocky Mountains to the wild-horse country west of Sundre, to Dry Island Buffalo Jump and Dinosaur Provincial Park, to the windswept grasslands between Lethbridge and Medicine Hat and through many other areas of this province, he captures images, each with a fascinating story behind it. Join Photojournalist Mike Drew on June 18 for On the Road – Exploring the Natural Wonders of Southern Alberta.

Registration Required.
