Blast from the Past Archaeological Exploration presentation will offer something for history buffs and everyone else: archaeological findings illuminating the daily lives of Calgary’s first European settlers. When the lights dim in the Fish Creek Environmental Learning Centre, you’ll travel from 1873, when the first European raised an axe to build a home, to 1998, when archaeologists unearthed what is left behind – artifacts from another century! Join us for a fascinating look at the history of Fish Creek Provincial Park.

Join Friends heritage interpreter and minibus tour guide, Drew McKibben, for a virtual tour of three important sites of past excavation, and increase your understanding of local archaeology.
